Rooted in History

Our story begins in 1829, when Thomas Parsons and his family journeyed from Cumberland, England to settle on this very land, purchasing the farm from the Seigneur Lotbinière of Vaudreuil. Today, our restaurant proudly stands on that original homestead — a place where history is not just remembered, but beautifully preserved. During recent renovations, the original logs used to build the Parsons family home were uncovered and thoughtfully restored and now grace our main floor walls — a living tribute to the craftsmanship and spirit of those who came before us.
